St. Mark's Participates in St. Paul A.M.E. Miracle Day...

The Lodge once again assisted the less fortunate this year during St. Paul
A.M.E.'s Miracle Day. The Brethren passed out clothes and fed those who
attended. This is the second year that we have participated in this annual event.

Brotherhood Retreat Held in Hocking Hills...

The Brethren traveled to Hocking Hills to participate in a Brotherhood retreat.  
Those present enjoyed the fellowship along with the great meals that were
prepared by Bro. Marlon Hales. Several workshops were presented by various
members that focused on Masonic education, Masonic jurisprudence and
officers duties.

Appreciation Breakfast held for Wor. Bro. Joe D. Rawls...

St. Mark's held a surprise appreciation breakfast for Wor. Bro. Joe D. Rawls.
Wor. Bro. Rawls was truly surprised as he stepped in the room to a standing
ovation for his dedication and achievements during his tenure.

Lodges of the Third Masonic District Contribute to Haiti Relief...

St. Mark's along with the other Lodges of our District are collecting various
items to help the earthquake victims of Haiti. Each Brother is asked to donate a
backpack/book bag which contains a six-pack 10 oz  bottle of water, 1 roll of
toilet paper, toothbrush, toothpaste, a bar of soap, feminine hygiene products
non perishable food items. You may also fill it with basic school supplies.

We will be collecting these items on March 3rd, 4th, 16th, 17th, and 18th at the
Temple.  Drop off times will be from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m

Annual Street Clean Up...

In what has become an annual tradition in St. Mark's, the Brethren participated
in an area clean up of Long St.  Bro. D.D. Phillips organized this year's effort
which proved to be a huge success. We were joined by Brothers from other
Lodges as well as several members of the local Order of Pythagorans.

The Best Fish Dinners in Columbus Are Back...

The Lodge's annual Fish Fry will be held on May 22, 2010 at the Temple.  More
details will follow.

After 158 Years, St. Mark's is Still Making Good Men Better...

The Lodge welcomes five new Brothers to the Craft. Bro. Rafe Lewis, Bro.
Salathiel Roach, Bro. Guy Cook, Bro. Paul Still and Bro. Jason Rawls were
raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on May 8, 2010.  These
Brothers were raised with three other candidates from Pride of the Hilltop No.
110. After the Degree work, the St. Mark's held a celebration luncheon for our
new Brothers and their families.

St. Mark's Spring Fish Fry...

Led by Bro. Marlon Hales, the Lodge once again had a very successful fish fry.
As we have done for a number of years, the Brethren gathered early on a
Saturday morning to eat breakfast, fellowship and prepare for the day.
Teamwork  was the key to yet another great St. Mark's event.

St. Mark's Thanksgiving Day in May...

Bro. Kris Hale organized this noteworthy charitable endeavor. Many
organizations conduct food drives during the Thanksgiving and Christmas
season. Knowing that there are families who require food assistance
throughout the year, St. Mark's selected ten families and presented them with
baskets of food.

Shopping Extravaganza and Bus Trip...

Please join us for fun and shopping at one of the largest outlet malls in the
Midwest. The bus will depart on June 26, 2010 at 7:30 am from 988 E. Long St

Giving Back (Packs)...

Bro. Al Edmondson is hosting the 2nd annual Back to school rally on Monday
Aug
ust 16, 2010 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm. The event will be held at the Mt. Vernon
Plaza. Bro. Edmondson is collecting back packs and school supplies for the
children of the community. If you would like to donate supplies, you can drop

Riding to End Cancer...

For the second year in a row, Bro. Douglas Fowler will be participating in the
Pelotonia. Pelotonia is a grassroots bike tour with one goal: to end cancer.
Pelotonia raises money for innovative and life saving cancer research at The
Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital
